ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to restore health and vitality by harnessing the body's innate ability to heal. We use hair-thin needles to gently correct imbalances along the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual planes, activating the flow of energy to both replenish resources and create forward movement. Electro-stimulation, moxa (mugwort) burning, scraping, and other adjunct therapies may be used to compliment the treatment.
ESSENTIAL OILS
Essential oils are potent, biologically active plant extracts that have an immediate effect on brain chemistry, homeostasis, physical stress, and emotional well-being. Oils can be incorporated into any treatment to enhance and deepen the therapeutic effect. We use only the highest quality, unadulterated, organic oils ethically and sustainably sourced by Snow Lotus from small artisan producers.
BODYWORK
FIRE CUPPING
Hands-on bodywork is an invaluable adjunct to acupuncture for whole-body healing. Aside from the therapeutic benefits of human touch, bodywork helps to circulate energy, release muscle tension, promote relaxation, and reduce stress. We use a combination of Chinese tui-na massage, shiatsu, acupressure and deep tissue.
Glass fire cupping creates a vacuum to draw stagnant blood, lymph, and fluid from the deep tissue layer to the surface of where it can be released. It effectively clears toxins, treats muscular pain and tension, softens scar tissue, and loosens fascia. Cupping works well as a stand-alone treatment, or as an adjunct to acupuncture.
CHINESE MEDICINAL HERBS
Chinese herbal medicine uses the natural potency of plants and minerals to synergistically address the body's needs. Formulas are mindfully crafted to correct imbalances while minimizing the side effects common with pharmaceutical drugs. We stock a variety of herbs in powder, capsule and tablet form, and only source from high quality producers including Evergreen Herbs and Blue Poppy.

Appointment times are reserved exclusively for you. In order to provide the highest level of service and attention, we treat one patient at a time.

* 45 minute session, existing patients only - $75
Appointment includes thorough intake followed by a customized treatment. Cost of herbs is additional.
HSA and FSA cards are accepted. We are not contracted with insurance, but can provide you with a superbill as an out-of-network provider.
